From chipped teeth to sudden toothaches, Dr. Hussain has the expertise to handle a wide range of dental emergencies. When you arrive, our team’s first step is always to make you comfortable and pain-free. We’ll use a gentle, numbing local anesthetic, so you won’t feel a thing. Your dentist can:
Repair Damaged Teeth – Whether it’s a small chip or a larger break, Dr. Hussain will restore your tooth’s shape and function. She can make your smile whole again with composite fillings or durable dental crowns, depending on the extent of the damage.
Tackle Infections – If you’re experiencing pain or bleeding when you brush or floss, you might have a tooth or gum infection. Dr. Hussain can perform root canal therapy (which isn’t as scary as it sounds!) or treat gum infections to get you back to health.
Gently Remove Damaged Teeth – Sometimes, extracting a tooth is the best way to relieve pain and prevent further problems. If needed, we’ll make this process as comfortable as possible. After a period of healing, you can return here for a replacement tooth.
Replace Missing Teeth – Lost a tooth? Don’t worry! If you arrive on time, Dr. Hussain will put the tooth back into place. However, if it’s not possible to save, you’ll find options to fill the gap and restore your confident smile. From bridges to implants, you’ll have a custom tooth that looks and feel just like normal.

My first visit as this doctor took over the practice of which serviced my needs for about 38 years. I was tentative going in. The doctor proved to be very personable and very professional. I was in need of a crown. I’m not a dentist but I walked out with a temporary, felt good, no pain and the temp crown looked great. I’ll go back in 2 weeks to get the permanent crown.
Ok, 2 weeks later, the permanent crown is in place and feeling really good.
I feel very confident in this doctor and I’ll certainly continue with her care.
Common Questions About Dental Emergencies
Can you help with my dental emergency?
Over the years, we’ve been able to help many of our patients through their dental emergencies, and we’d be happy to help you as well. If you call us with a dental emergency, we’ll likely ask you, “How soon can you be here?” That’s how seriously we take your oral health and our mission to get you out of pain.
What can you do for my dental emergency?
When you come to us for your emergency, you can expect quick, skilled treatment to get your smile back in shape soon. Our first priority will be to stop your dental pain so you can relax. We’ll perform an emergency exam and possibly take X-rays to determine what is causing your pain and what needs to be done to correct it. We’ll always give you options whenever possible.
Can I prevent dental emergencies?
Anticipating every potential dental emergency is impossible, but proactive measures can lower the chances of encountering such issues. Adhering to ADA guidelines by maintaining daily oral hygiene practices like brushing and flossing, along with scheduling routine dental cleanings, minimizes the likelihood of tooth infections and gum disease. Additionally, wearing athletic mouthguards while engaging in sports activities provides added protection against dental injuries.
